Ozonated Olive Oil

Ozonated Olive Oil

History

Shortly after patenting his his first ozone generator, Nikola Tesla ( in 1900 ) began marketing
an ozonated olive oil to medical doctors. Nikola Tesla created his ozonated oil by bubbling
ozone through pure olive oil in the presence of a magnetic field for eight weeks. By 1904, ozonated olive oil, also known as Glycozone, began appearing in medical literature, such as
"The Medical Uses of Hydrozone and Glycozone", 9th Edition, by New York Chemist Charles Marchland. Ozone, as a very reactive gas, is difficult to stablize for long periods of time in a useable form. However, by bubbling ozone through an ozone resistant container ( such as a
glass container ), the ozone gas is trapped, and begins to react with the oil. In essence, what
is occuring is a catalytic reaction that actually burns the olive oil. One of the resultant
compounds is C10H18O3, with the hydrogen and carbon complex. Some of the terpene gas remains trapped within the oil, and some is released into the environment. While some people may believe that fully ozonated olive oil is an ozone carrier, the oxygen is actually bound and released as a peroxide ( O-O-H bond ). Ozonated olive oil will hold actual ozone gas for a
limited amount of time, but in its "free form" state.

What are the Applications for Ozonated Olive Oil?
Ozonated Olive Oil is helpful in bacterial infections of the skin and is used primarily for:

- Fungal infections (including Athlete's Foot)
- Fistulae
- Leg Ulcers
- Bed Sores
- Gingivitis
- Herpes Simplex
- Hemorrhoids
- Vulvovaginitis
- Bee Stings
- Insect Bites
- Acne
- Impetigo
- Psoriasis
- Ringworm
- Skin Yeast
- Sweat Gland Infections
- Tinea Versicolor
-
Dry Skin
-
Eczema
-
Sunburn
- Diaper Rash
- Cuts
-
Makeup Removal (avoid the eyes)
-
Skin Moisturizer
-
Post-surgical treatment of wounds to prevent secondary infections

Application Methods
- When used for massage, the ozonide enters the tissue and oxidizes lactic acid and toxins,
and this has proven to be an effective treatment for many skin conditions.
- Ingest 2 tablespoons of partially ozonated olive oil three times a day for 2-3 weeks as a part
of a liver cleansing program and in order to remove PCB's from the body.

- Topical application of ozonated olive oil to the area where treatment is required

How to make ozonated olive oil
Two different forms of ozonated oil exist, namely concentrated and partially ozonated olive oil.
Partially ozonated olive oil is easier and quicker to create than concentrated olive oil, but doesn't
quite compare with concentrated olive oil with regard to therapeutic purposes.

1) Partially ozonated olive oil

Items Needed:-
- Olive oil, preferably Extra Virgin Olive oil
- Ozone Generator - at least a 500mg/hr output
- Air Pump (if ozone generator doesn't have a built-in one) - at least 4 L/min
- Ceramic or Wooden aerator / air stone - must be made of ozone-resistant material
- 1 metre of Silicone Tubing - to connect aerator to ozone outlet on ozone generator
- 1 metre of Silicone Tubing - to connect air pump to ozone generator ( if required )
- Small Glass Jar with a screw on lid - approx 250ml

Method:-
1) Nearly fill the 250ml
glass jar with Olive oil.
2) Connect the one end of the silicone tube to the attachment on the aerator, and the other end
to the "ozone out" feedthru on the ozone generator.
3) If no pump is built-in, connect a length of silicone tubing to the air pump outlet and connect
the other end of the silicone tubing to the "air in" outlet on the ozone generator
4) Power on both the ozone generator and the air pump ( if required ) You should feel and hear
air bubbling out of the airstone and you should notice an ozone smell ( a clean, crisp smell
similar to the smell experienced after an electrical storm )
5) Place the aerator in the glass jar containing the Olive oil. You should see lots of tiny bubbles
developing inside the glass jar.
6)
You can bubble ozone through the oil for approx 30 minutes if you have a 500 mg/hr ozone
machine.
7) After approx 30 minutes power off the ozone generator (and air pump) and remove the aerator
from the glass jar.
8)
After screwing on the lid, you can store it in the refrigerator for about 30 days.

2) Concentrated ozonated olive oil
(use of oxygen concentrator recommended for excellent results)

Items Needed:-
- Extra Virgin Olive oil
- Ozone Generator - at least a 500mg/hr output, 2gm/hr or more recommended
- Heavy Duty Air Pump - at least 10-15 L/min flow rate
- Ceramic or Wooden aerator / air stone - must be made of ozone-resistant material
- 1 metre of Silicone Tubing - to connect aerator to ozone outlet on ozone generator
- 1 metre of Silicone Tubing - to connect air pump to ozone generator ( if required )
- Large, Round Fish Bowl

Method:-
1) Half fill the fish bowl
with Olive oil.
5) Place the aerator in the fish bowl containing the Olive oil. You should see lots of tiny bubbles
developing inside the glass jar.
6)
You can bubble ozone through the oil for approx 2-3 weeks non-stop 24 hours a day.
7) At one point in the production process (after a few days),
the viscosity of the olive oil will be
such that you will get foaming for a while.
Using the round fish bowl will cause the foam
bubbles to climb up the inside of the fish bowl where its own weight will cause it to drop back
into the main body of oil. It's the ideal shape to use to prevent foaming oil from going over the
top of your container.

8) Once the white foam has settled the process is complete. Power off the ozone generator
(and air pump) and remove the aerator from the fish bowl.
9) Decant the ozonated olive oil into small jars with screw-on lids
10) After screwing on the lid, you stick it into the freezer for storage (always put it back into the
freezer after use in order to retain the maximum potency of ozone).

Ozonated olive oil, kept refrigerated, retained its effectiveness for over ten years, in tests conducted by German researchers.
